  • Responsibilities:
    Raymond Ball has been the Marcy Historian since 1988.He attended William and Mary College in the center of Williamsburg, VA, the old historic village. Raymond has published several books depicting the history of Marcy. He has done extensive work with both the the NY State Museum and the National Register of Historic Sites.Raymond was one of the founders of Marcy Chamber of Commerce and founder and past president of Oneida County Genealogy Club. He is a member of Oneida County Historical Society, Utica; NY State Historical Association,Cooperstown; and member of NY State Association Municipal Historians. Raymond has done extensive work in refurbishing abandoned cemeteries.
